How I use Positive Affirmations
By now you should realize I'm way deep in the rabbit hole of metaphysics and I'm glad that I'm here. Because quite frankly, my life has changed because of it.
I am a Seeker and a Scientist of my own life in that I search for the Truth and experiment on myself to see what it's all about.
Today, I'd like to dedicate this post to share my personal experiences of using Positive Affirmations and my hope is that you will be inspired to TRY.
Here's how I use Positive Affirmations:
1. Repeat your affirmations before bed and immediately when you wake up. Your brain is in a relaxed Alpha wave that is most open to ANY suggestions. (BTW - This is also why you should especially avoid mainstream media at these time because it instigates Fear which means you're affirming it as your reality).
2. Use affirmations that resonates the most with yourself. You can tweak the words to make it more believable or come up with your own.
3. Repetition is key to building new neuropathways. Once new neuropathways are established, you'll notice your repetitive negative thoughts are gone. You will literally experience a new version of yourself.
4. Meditation is key to cultivate awareness of the energies you're holding within so you can release it gracefully. Don't suppress/repress your emotions as that will only perpetuate the suffering. Instead, allow yourself to experience those emotions so that it can be released. Think of it as a blood transfusion where you're pumping out old blood (ie stagnant emotions suppressed/repressed within) and injecting fresh blood (ie positive affirmations/thoughts) into your energetic system.
After a while of doing positive affirmations, you'll start to notice things and events in your life seems to be conspiring in your favour. Positive affirmation is NOT a magic bullet that will solve all your life problems, but it'll definitely help you get out of the rut if you are willing to put in the internal work. Keep repeating your affirmations and watch your life change miraculously - most importantly, have fun and stay curious! Become a scientist of your own life.
